Jaja Vankova

Jana Vankova was born on March 21, 1992 in the Czech Republic. She trained in Popping, Locking, House, Hip Hop, and other styles. Jaja started her professional dance career in 2006 with Out Of Bounds dance group. After winning International Dancer Of The Year in 2010, Jaja was chosen to be part of I.aM.mE Crew and moved to the US to compete on MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 6. Since then, Jaja has won multiple urban dance competitions and dance battles, and has been featured in several movies, theater shows, and commercials. She has also worked with artists Selena Gomez, Ludacris, Kevin Hart and more. Jaja was featured as a lead dancer for the 1st Olympic European Games in Baku. She is also well known for her appearance as the “Robot Girl” in “Step Up All In,” and as a finalist from So You Think You Can Dance Season 12. She has been trained by the Electric Boogaloos, Elite Force, and by the pioneers of Hip Hop, Popping, Locking and Krump dancers in the world. She founded and currently directs R.U.R. Alliance and is a member of BeastCamp.
