How to do the Open Close Knees Move
- Start by standing in front of a mirror with your heels together and your toes turned outward.
- Now, bend your knees and drop to the floor. Your weight should be on the balls of your feet with your heels lifted in the air so that you can keep you torso upright and balanced. Your arms should be straight out with your hands on your knees.
- From this position, bring your knees and arms as far open as you can, so your knees should point alllll the way out and your back should arch.
- Then, bring your knees and arms back to the front, closing your knees and leaning forward with your torso.
- Practice the open knees to closed knees motion slowly, and then, work your way up to a quicker pace.

Keep in mind that the “open” part of the movement is the sexier shape, so as you’re doing this move to a song, you can milk the open part of the move and go through the closed part of the move more quickly so that the open part is more of the focus!
